The name MAKE is derived from the first two letters of the founders’ names, Mandie and Kevin. Their characteristics and experience contribute to the company values. After years of pursuing different paths with an almost diametrical vision they finally decided to use their collective experience to bring hope, employment and production to Africa hence MAKE: Africa. The design direction was chosen to portray a new way of looking at the industry through transparency and ethical local production.
