Home to award-winning Bordeaux-style wines, small pockets of Italian varieties and extra virgin olive oils. A pioneering South African Estate meticulously cultivated by Italian father, grandfather and founder, Giulio Bertrand. Where African soil meets Italian flair.
His vigour and passion was the inspiration, after his passing, to keep innovating the brand with renewed energy and to push Morgenster into a brand-new era of excellence. The brief was to distil the brand down to its essence and to let the quality speak for itself. Which started with a new strategy and positioning statement, that in turn informed the brand design update.
Every detail of our re-brand was aimed at honouring the timeless traditions and unwavering quality that Morgenster is renowned for, all the while embracing generational change in an exciting evolution for the Estate.
Our focus was to revisit our origin, allowing us to get to the true essence of our brand and story. The new design is elegant, minimalistic and modern, allowing the products to speak for themselves.
The new brand identity features a unique logomark showcasing the Morgenster ‘M’ and the symbolic ‘Morning Star’ in an exciting design shift into modernity.
