The word Smous is defined as a person who can sell anything to anyone. A fitting name for a company that delivers a wide range of alcoholic beverages straight to your door.
The van artwork is symbolic of selling goods out of the back of your car or boot, referencing a travelling salesman. The execution thereof drew inspiration from pop art, which in turn influenced the bold typography as well.
The nature of the brand identity is playful, creating a nice contrast to the more serious side of the brand that takes pride in sourcing fantastic wines from the private cellars of producers and therefore have a unique selection available to customers.
