As a décor and design brand, Naia in inspired by the calmness and authentic pleasures life has to offer.

Their first product, that reveals their brand’s philosophy and passion for design, is the Naia Harmony dinner candle. Every detail of this luxurious candle has been passionately curated, in collaboration with Melle Studio, and we were approached to design the packaging for the beautiful candle duo –Blanc & Noir.

The aim of the packaging was to place emphasis on the product inside, whilst reflecting its elegance.  We therefor created a black box for the black candle and a light grey box for the white candle, square shaped for the candles to sit diagonally inside.

The texture of the boxes were very important for us, which lead to the decision to cover them in Wibalin and use black and white foil for the subtle bits of design elements and information that were necessary.

The safety of the candles was an important feature that the boxes needed to adhere to, which is why the lid of the box sits over the base of the box, ultimately creating double walled protection.

We also designed cards that go inside of the box and lie on top of the candle, as an added elements of surprise and intentionality when you open it.

Our photography aimed to evoke a feeling of light, peace and organic lines – a space in which a Naia Harmony candle feels at home.
